Family stranded in woods aided in own rescue - March 8, 2017
A family who was stranded in the remote wilderness outside Utopia when their utility terrain vehicle broke down late Monday night was rescued by authorities early the next morning.

YSSR Receives $10,080 from the Fredericton Direct Charge Co-op

York Sunbury Search and Rescue was chosen as this years Co-op Community Fund Recipient.  We would like th thank the Fredericton Direct Charge Co-op for their support of our organization.  These funds will help support our team going forward.  We are proud to serve the community in which we live.

York Sunbury Ground Search and Rescue is honored to be the winning recipient of Fredericton’s 100 Men Who Care’s quarterly $10,000 donation in support of local charities. 100 Men Who Care has recognized the importance of YSSR in our local community and their generous donation will go a long way in helping YSSR to achieve a number of important goals.
